It went something like this.....
A science professor said to his students: Do you believe in God?
A student raised his hand and said: Yes
Professor: How can you believe on Hod when you cannot see him, hear him, feel him, smell him, or taste him?
Student: Sir, I have not seen, heard, felt, smelt, or tasted your brain. For all I know, you have no lungs.
Professor: Fair enough. So, tell me then, if God created everything, he must've created both good and evil. Therefore, God is evil, as well.
Student: What do you call it when light is not there?
Professor: Dark.
Student: What do you call it when heat is not there?
Professor: Cold.
Student: What do you call it when God is not there?
Professor: ...
Student: Evil.
The professor sits down and scratches his head.
Just thought I'd share the story: -

I really like my science teacher this year because he is polite and respectful of varying religions.
Two years ago my science teacher said I was stupid for believing in God. She told me that my belief was wrong and was extremely disrespectful.
Evolution, the Big Bang and Creationism are all theorys; meaning they have not yet been proven. There is evidence for all of them but neither is more inferior than the other. They're called theory's for a reason.
How dare she tell me I was stupid and dim for believing in God. She can't prove her belief and neither can I. We're on the same boat, no? -
I believe in god. And yet I find this story, which I've been hearing different versions of for years, very stupid.
Professor: Sure son you can't see my lungs but if we cut my stomach/chest you'll see it. -
god didn't create evil he gave us the choice to be evil or good

God is EVERYWHERE. Sorry. Look, People have different theories about religion (Whether they are right or wrong) Lets not try to cram Jesus down their throat ok?

Okay, listen; I didn't write the story. I just felt a need to share it. I'm not trying to force it upon anyone. So if you didn't like/agree with the story, that's ok. But don't act like I'm shoving my religion down your throats. I have done that (xD) but all I did was post a story.
@ange --- I don't even think teachers are allowed to say things like that! >:(

@barborbob2 --- if you open your heart to Jesus and let him speak to you, you will hear him. God is always there for you.
@Viktor --- What they meant is when God is not in your heart, evil is. If you are not worshipping God, you are worshipping the devil.
@luvhungergames --- yes I understand that. All I did was share a dumb story, ok? I didn't even write it. Though I'd really like to yell at everyone to be a Christian, I didn't and I'm not going to.
Keep in mind that these are all just suggestions based on my beliefs. I'm not forcing you to follow this. Why am I not even surprised that I even had to include this part? *headdesk* -

And, I don't worship my god(though I quite like him), but I don't worship "devil" either. There's no such a thing as devil in my opinion. -
When you die the final question is truly answered, effectively you cut open the body of religion and see it's innards and genitals.
However that is hard to tell others being dead and all. -
I meant open your hearts metaphorically, geniuses. -_-
And yes, according to the bible if you aren't worshipping Hod, you're worshipping the devil -
I have got to stop calling him Hod xD
