I'm not pure.
Seriously, the way the preacher my dad listens to talks, it sounds like very very few people are ever getting into heaven.
But maybe I'm taking it wrong, but if I am a Christian I'm being pretty lousy by because well I'm kinda worldly. I really don't do anything religious. And some of my interests are contradictory to my religion.
I'm just venting, this is sort of the reason why I'm agnostic so much. But I still believe because of the evidence I see and the spirituality I have felt. I like to believe, but sometimes it feels like I'm on the road to hell. -
What evidence are you talking bout?

this is swimmers friend. i'm pretty much along the same road as you. i guess my main problem in believing in god is that i don't see how a god could create beings that could be so evil. there are some really sick people in the world.

@Swimmer Ya well with christianity they come up with an excuse for everything there are bad people so thats the devil.

Because he's testing them or whatever. Christianity is the same as what the romans and greeks believe they just saw stuff science couldn't explain and made up a story to how things came to be.

Exactly. just another childrens story. i ran out of faith a long time ago. if people wanna believe in tha stuff though then good for them. they deserve to be happy, after all, who am i to tell someone what to believe? i do like to reason, however that if a christian can freely preach their belief to an athiest or someone who is agnostic that the athiest or agnostic person should be able to speak their mind freely back without criticism.

Can you tell me how a bird with britle bones and intricately hooked feathers evoled from a reptile with scalely skin and harsh body structure?
Can you explain how everything takes millions of years of change when drastic changes like a catapiller turns into a butterfly in like two weeks?
Can you explain how carbon dating works if the heaviest things from all times go to the bottom while the lighter of things are to the top of the ground?
I know I'm probably not explaining things completely right, but I would like to here your evidence. -
