Thread Topic: This is probably the toughest question in the world.

Let's say you were talking to a moron. And they ask you this:
"How do you breathe?"
Describe how to breathe to that person.
God...I can't answer this... -
Breathing is a two step process.
the contraction of muscles in the diaphragm; stretching the lungs and in-taking air through the nose and mouth is inhaling.
The relaxing of those muscles and tightening of your chest, expelling that air is referred to as exhaling. -
My friend thought that too. I wasn't sure if it was asking for the scientific explanation or the literal "how to" statement.
-
Why would i answer a moron? Ewwww
-
Explaining it to a moron? I would probably say:
The things in your chest that are like ballons are called lungs. Your lungs get bigger and smaller. That is why your chest moves up and down when you breathe. Your lungs are taking in air when your chest is getting bigger, and your lungs are getting rid of un wanted air when your chest gets smaller. -
*balloons
-
Well considering they are a moron and will probably believe anything, I would tell them to poke two holes in their trachea with a screwdriver.
-
"Well, first, you need a vacuum cleaner and some duct tape..."
-
Tounge- but how would they know what a trachea is...
-
I thought these answers would be less violent... xD
I think the book meant in the how too.
I said:
"Learn to inhale and exhale. Then you got it."
Then they would ask me how to inhale/exhale. By then, I wouldn't know how to answer to them. -
I asked someone on another site. "I inhale and exhale in a sexy manner"
-
Pull in air through nose or mouth? Idk...
-
I'd probably think about it for a while and by the time I figured out how to explain it the moron would have sufficated.
-
"How do you breathe? Why do you need to learn how to breathe?" XD
-
You breathe when you take in Oxygen and give out carbon dioxide.
