What Bob said kind of reminds me of a Hunter S. Thompson quote: "He who becomes a beast rids himself of the pain of being a man". If you don't want to do it, that's fine, because your assessment isn't wrong. I've seen alot of stoners who are like that. I think anytime a drug becomes your life, you almost do cease to be human in many respects. But I still think it is worth trying at least once.

Weed is a gateway drug. It's the first step in the land slide. Almost every drug addict I have ever met said they started out on just pot. That they didn't make a habit of it. That it wasn't a problem.
I work in the schools Youth Service Center and we get a lot of druggies around us. This is the case for almost all of them. They all started with weed and they never thought they made a habit of it. -
As of 1990, it was 23%. And the average has risen exponentially.

lol I hear about that gateway drug BS all the time. And you know what I could f---ing care less. It may apply to others but definetely not me. I've been doing it since I was 13, but I have never been a consistent smoker. Now after all these years I'm still in skool and I have had jobs before. You can think what you like but I'm certainly not on a path to drug addiction.
