Teenagers already smoke and drink. The phrase 'you only live once' doesn't make them have some kind of goddamned epiphany and start doing things they enjoy. Because they were already gonna do it. This applies to some, alot of kids won't do it anyways.
Skyler, that's a horrible example. I'd rather have fun partying then be a gun toting government slave. If you only live once, you should make your own decisions, not your f---ing officer, seargent, etc.
It's just an old ass phrase shortened. Not some youth phenomenon. -
