I'm not sure how much of this was real and how much I just imagined. But I'll tell you what happened over the last two days.
While up in my room, doing the usual stuff like drinking Mountain Dew and listening to things like the Hamsterdance sped up, the lights suddenly went out. It was dark outside, so naturally I was a little surprised, but figured it was just a crappy lightbulb and was about to go get a new one, when I realized the door wouldn't open. Another normal occurrence, since the door gets stuck easily. So I just pulled on it really hard, but no matter how much I pulled, it wouldn't budge.
That's when crap started getting real.
I saw a blue figure standing in the room. Also fairly normal, since I see glowing blue figures a lot...but not like this. This looked like a 50's housewife, with a large knife. She began to stab herself several times in the guts, until eventually she cut herself in half. Then I actually saw blood. Not ghost blood, real blood. On the carpet.
Then the upper half of her body became more realistic and covered with flesh, and it began to drag itself towards me. Intestines dragging, head moving 360 degrees, and making a noise like something out of the Grudge. I kept trying to get out of there, but to no avail. Shadowy figures of hanging bodies dropped all around me.
The ropes snapped and they dropped.
Then Tritanope appeared.
Tritanope is the one who appeared in my dream about the skinstealers, and reversed the event so that it was like there never were skinstealers. (Those skinstealers were freaky, by the way.)
As to why his name is Tritanope...I have no clue. A tritanope is a type of colorblind person. So is he colorblind...?
I might discuss the origins of Tritanope and his weird name later. Right now, freaky ghost occurrence.
Anyway. Tritanope put up this force field, and began shooting at the ghosts with shards of something. The ghosts began to disappear, while I could see them outside the force field. The door suddenly opened. Tritanope told me the ghosts will disappear if I leave. So I did. When I came back later, no ghosts.
It didn't end there, though. Last night, while trying to sleep, I kept seeing ghostly figures with knives in the kitchen. If I made eye contact with one, they would throw a knife at me. Of course, they didn't actually do anything, but in the moment it's scary crap.
I saw eyes and toothy grins everywhere. A figure came IN THE LIVING ROOM, and it looked like a normal person, but with no eyes and shark teeth. The creepy part was, it looked like it once had eyes, too. The sockets were full of torn meat and blood, and eyelids hung limply where they should have covered eyes.
Then Tritanope appeared.
Like usual, Tritanope put up a force field, and the ghosts fled. But it still didn't stop the thoughts that I was having. Horrific images of knives falling in my forehead. Ghosts dragging me by the feet into the bathtub to drown me. THE EYES. Yet Tritanope was there to stop the ghosts. As long as Tritanope was there, I was physically okay. But Tritanope could not protect me from disturbing thoughts, and there were tons of those. I even saw an image of ghosts tearing at the flesh of a dead Tritanope. The ghosts, or whatever they are, can't kill him. But I had thoughts of it.
It all went away with the sunlight. Except for Tritanope, who I saw until I fell asleep.
Now the solution seems simple, just keep that Tritanope by your side the whole time, right? Nope. While he can keep the things away from me, he can't stop the most terrifying part of it.
The lightbulb is okay by the way. -
