tori109 NoviceYou know what that was mean. And it should feel wrong, now people think you are a lesbo.... :/

Go ol' hypocrisy and ignorance.
-
-_- Sexuality isn't something to joke about.
-
Lesbian? I think that is totally wrong and gross, but I will tolerate it...
But, I recommend sticking with being straight. What are all those hot guys supposed to do when us girls become lesbian? I will stick with being straigth... O.o -
@Angelic, Sexuality isn't something to joke about (what alana said) and even if it was a dare.
@PurpleCherries, I found what you said to be very rude. -
You people are f---ing ridiculous, this is a prime example of ignorance
There's nothing wrong with being part of the LGBT community like the way you guys are making it sound. -
I'm a gay Christian. No one chooses to become gay. Why choose a life of being bullied, made fun of, given hateful glares and told you're going to hell? Especially if you're Christian? Can you explain why all species have homosexuality and humans are the only ones who freak out? I read the Bible, and you'll find that a lot of what is said, especially in the Old Testament, is filled with Jewish culture, traditions and history. Basically God doesn't want anyone to have multiply partners and immoral sex, but to be faithful. The cultures around them basically would allow prostitution in the temples. The verse in Leviticus was speaking about that kind of homosexuality.
If I am in anyway wrong I pray God shows me what's right. Whatever the case, God will always love each and every human despite their past, and His Will shall be done. -
@Ana YOU ARE AWESOME.
-
"I think that is totally wrong and gross, but I will tolerate that". What the f--- is that?
-
@Appay Aww, thanks. xD But really, I'm just speaking what I believe.
Hasn't anyone wondered why it only says 'Men shall not lie with men' and nothing like 'The same applies as well; women shall not lie with women'? It was about male prostitution in the temples.
The same can be applied to the idea of marriage. We refer to God as a 'He' because it is how English is set up basically to refer to something of unknown gender. God has no gender. The idea that the church is the bride and the Lord is the groom is actually quite subjective. Is everyone in the church female? Does God have a gender? Than what is to say that marriage is only between a man and a woman, and not two adults in a consensual and loving relationship? Throughout history, because of culture, marriage has been seen to be heterosexual, as it was tradition and need of reproduction.
God is never changing, but people are, you see? His Word was the Word then as it is the Word now. You could also look to the verses where it speaks to not marry out of one's tribe. That wasn't because of race, but the fact that the other tribes around Israel did not believe in God. In the culture of that time, if you married into another tribe you would take on the beliefs and rituals of that tribe. Though it is undeniable that two people from different ethnic backgrounds can love, correct? That interracial Christian couples exist.
The same can be said for gays. As long as both people want to build their lives on God's Word and Spirit, then their differences are set aside. It's not about 'gays are sexual so they must be all lusty and deviant!', because if two people want to be faithful and pure with each other, in marriage, then there's nothing wrong with it. -
Don't get mad at her it was just a dare. And yeah joking about sexuality is wrong.
