When people use gay for everything.
"That's gay!"
"You're gay!"
"Are you gay?"
"I love you, no homo!" (That is offensive too)
I don't like it. I'm bi, a lot of people I know are. And I love listening to DJ Sisen and watching him dance, he's got a boyfriend that he wants to marry one day. In all honesty, when you and your friends make gay jokes or anything of the sort, imagine a gay couple standing in front of you and how they feel. -
I strongly stand on your side as well. I want to shoot those people who say those things. How'd they feel if people started running around saying, "That's straight! You're straight! Are you straight?" Seriously. Sexual orientations shouldn't be a subject of discrimination or bashing. People live their lives. You live yours. Everyone says racism's such a horrid thing. So is homophobia.

I understand, and am very glad, there are straights who can learn to leave their comfort zone and be kind to those who are different. Makes me smile with joy.

I never want to see any kind of sad look on Sisen's face. He's too good with a lovely smile all the time, and I never want to see that smile fade because of this...I don't want him to wear a mask, I want him to be happy.

I completely agree. It's hurtful even if you're straight. Gay isn't another word for stupid. In my opinion it's a term used by people too stupid to think about how people feel.

Depends on the person really. I'm not going to stop using a word because it offends someone, it's only offensive is you let it offend you.
Same could be said for the word 'Retard'.
