I've got soccer training this week and I need to drink lots of water before. I can't just straight drink water if I don't need it at the moment, so does anybody have any suggestions?

I've done it loads of times. Just a friendly pre-warning..you will need to pee like every hour. So dont go too far from a bog..Okay: (not to put you off or anything)
1. Dont chug it down at once..it can make you feel well..like crap.
2. Dont drink too much of it either..apparantly, it gives a similar idea when your drunk..just without the hangover.
3. Take it slow a fist (like with a cup) and move on to bottles.
4. Even if you dont need any, just try to have a bit, so then your body will get used to the amount of intake of water
5. Also, when you drink a lot of water, being active will help you too.
6. Just remember to GRADUALLY build it up
7. Your supposed to have 8 glasses of water a day (2 litres). JUst start with half a litre, then a full one and then move up SLOWLY.
JUST NOT TOO MUCH!

Well, I ended up doing pretty well by drinking all the water. The only steback was... I had to pee the whole practice and of course the bathrooms were locked.

i usually put flavoring in water and it makes me drink more of it

harp- I did that too, but I'd get red lips. I'd look too idiotic.

oh. Mine usually isnt red if thats what you mean. Usually peach mango tea or something like that. If not i drink lifewater and i recenly started drinking sparkling waters and they have flavor. And they come in bottles

I have to do it again. I wish I had something spicy to eat.

@Britt - Try eating Vindaloo. Or a red chilli. Or chilli powder. You will need all the water can drink
