I'm scared of the dark. I always have a fear that someone is gonna get a gun and shoot me. And now I just got scared by saying that. The only time I'm not scared is when I with a person that I trust. But eight now it's 12:33 AM and I gotta piss badly but I'm too scared to go to the bathroom cause that means I have to open the door...
I just had the stupidest idea ever but I really gotta piss and there's nothing to do to get over my fear so I'm gonna make a stack of paper and piss in it and throw it away tomorrow morning. -
Okay I just pissed in my garbage can. Now I have to sleep all night with the smell. I used graphic paper as toilet paper. I even locked my bedroom door cause I heard a noise. I need to tell my mom this.

what i do if i have to use the restroom at night and don't feel like tripping on anything on the floor in my room is i get a flashlight so i can see whats in my way and where the bathroom is and stuff

Fear is all in the mind, really. If you don't think about it you'll be alright.Like, don't think about whats there, just focus on where your going or what your doing.
But its natural to be afraid really,I used to be afraid of heights until my dumb--- bro convinced me to jump off the roof of my old shed. -
To be truthful.... I was always afraid of something coming out from under my bed, (and im still afraid, just alittle) and im usually afraid to get out of bed at night, thinking may be, just may be, a hand will come out from under my bed and kill me :/ so i usually have water near my bed just incase im thirsty, and when it comes to taking a piss..... Well, i have never wanted to piss in the middle of the night, never..... So, lil, its not only normal for your age, its normal for your life too.... We all have our fears in our lives... :/

I used to be scared to death of thunderstorms. It wasn't until I moved to Texas and lived in a brick house that I began to let go of the fear. And toward the end of living there I started to enjoy the sound of thunder in the distance.
Sick and Kish are right, fears are natural. It's kind of like a survival instinct. But I'm sure you'll be okay hun. Using a flashing light is a good idea, and just thinking the most normal circumstance possible will come out of it may help. -
I'm still scared of the being alone in the dark... So, you aren't alone. I'm afraid of demons and ghosts, and I feel that they're goanna come out and kill me for my wrong-doings xP Just, basically, what I do is a turn on at least one light and sprint to the places I need with my MP3 player. Like, I listen to the music to keep me distracted from the dark and what could be in it.

Oh, but yea, it is normal :3
-
yeah. i love the dark but i've gotten that feeling before. I always listen to music at night but when i don't i hear noises that might be scaring you.

Simple fix- 1. Get a weapon of your own.
2. Yell out in the dark "OKAY, WHICH OF YOU MOTHAFUCKAS IS NEXT?!"
It works, the eerie noises quit instantly after I tried it. -
Even if I use a flashlight it will remind me that a person will come up to me with a gun.
I don't think it's the dark I'm really scared of, it's the thought of a person with a gun hiding up behind me -
Agrees with Emmajamme, and doctors. (don't ask, it was horrible) Get a flashlight and/or a weapon. Scan your room with the flashlight and talk to the 'killers'. I find if you're the one making noise it helps. Sing, talk or tell yourself a story while you're walking. Imagine you are in a movie. This worked for me!
-
I get up, run to my light, turn on all the lights, go to the bathroom, and run back in to my room as fast as I can. I rarely turn the lights back off. And yeah, talking to myself always helps. Imagining I'm in a movie, and I'm about to kick someones ass. =P

@Music: I do that too but the thing is my room and the bathroom is upstairs and when I open the door and turn on all the lights I get scared when I look downstairs cause what if some one is there?
But this is only when everyone is asleep and I'm alone. -
In that case...
...you either need to work on overcoming the fear (kind of a Captain Obvious heard-it-a-thousand-times answer, but really it is possible, I had to do it with spiders and am currently working on rollercoasters that go upside-down [will get on damn rollercoaster next time I go. I am pretty much swearing to myself here.])
or you need to develop serious sneaky-ninja skills.
