i hate gender discrimination and i have to go through it alot since i am a girl and it so f---ing annoyin! my brother uses it all the time and its even worse:( and my parents seem to always stop me from eating and i'm not even overweight! anyone agree?

I hate it, and girls do get a lot of hate. But I've seen it go both ways, too.

yeah i get some of that from my dad, he wants me to be pretty xD
not really much of that here since the fine line between genders isn't as fine as you think :P -
about eating its kinda confuzing and not THAT bad. its not like they want me to be super skinny or anything. my mom thinks i eat a little too much and i think i need to gain a few pounds. at least i'm not as bad as some people. i've seen gender discrimination go both ways too. even though girls are mainly discriminated boys are too because there's alot more quizzes that say for girls than for boys. also that ladys first rule. i am a girl and i liked that rule but still i dont like the idea of people not being able to do things because of their gender. genders are equal. they just have some differences. and yes i usually make my own snacks when i'm not sick

BUT,
Now, I mean, in the present, women discrimination has become less. For example, we studied in History, that in the past, women in the Middle East and other parts of the world have been dicrimianted. Like:
1.They didn't get jobs

2.They weren't allowed out of their houses
3.Female infanticide: the burying of live female infants was common
4.Women never had the right to marry who they wanted to marry.
5.Since they had no right to marry, their sons, stepsons and brothers married them.
It's true, believe it or not, now, we should be happy, cuz we have more freedom.
Though, still, women are not considered that equal, cuz my Hist. teacher in Canada told me that women still get low wages than men...
Men are discriminated, but not as much as women... -

i kinda like the ladies first thing, it tells m that chivalry ain't dead :P -

ya i'm soooooo glad i didnt live back then. i never wear dresses anyways and a long time ago thats the only thing girls were alowd to wear i think
