Posting this in the vent thread because it doesn't fit in my normal one
Sooo my dad posted the me coming out thing.
My grandparents don't have social media so my parents are going to their house to tell them in person right now (I'm not going because I don't want to see their reaction face-to-face)
A couple people have seen it. Mostly my dads friends (who are already hella supportive lol) and the cousins/aunt and uncles who live in other states (AKA my cousin that plays Ariel and my literal favorite aunt in the entire world) and they seem pretty supportive soooo that's good (pretty sure my cousin already knew because I asked her how to audition for Peter Pan so I mean xD)
It's just scary because like, there's 50 f---ing people in my extended family so I have to balance 50 peoples reactions to this, and that's not even including family friends and s--- so like :') -
Ok so my grandparents on my moms side have figure out I'm trans, and my parents told me their reactions
I mean, they seemed to take it well. My grandpa asked some intrusive questions, but they're less 'I'm a transphobic bigot" type questions and more just 'I'm your grandpa and I feel awkward and when I feel awkward I say weird ass s--- haha' that's just the kind of person he is (he treats every conversation like it's an interview lmao) -
