Anybody here have any suggestions? And I mean so horrible it'll make a football player break down in tears

Er...
Well, Black people had family just like everyopne else in the world, and yet white's were carelss enough to drag them into a cotton field, and make the blacks to all our work. That had gone on until around the early 1900's. Than it seems, when blacks weren't so needed, guess who took they're place? Mexicans and latinos. The mexican thing was all during the 1940's. Even if you were mexican, and you were a US citizen, The immagrtion police could rip up your papers and send you back to Mexico to work. -
Some familes were seperated up because the "owners" would sell them to different farmers and whatnot, some of the families ended up being split up to work on seperate farms; and certain people didn't get to see their families again.
(I think so anyway. It was a while ago that I learned that so it may be a bit off >.>) -
The families of 'negros' were seperated once the child became of age to walk, so figure it, at the age of 2, a child would be sold. That's what some did.
The slaves were given just enough money to keep themselves alive. They worked under harsh conditions, rain, snow, or burning sun. A lot of them would die of pneumonia, a lung infection.
They were taken straight from Africa, from their home, to work.
And more than a hundred years later, African Americans, Mexicans, Asains, ect. were still discriminated, until Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. performed his famous 'I have a dream' speech.
Some of this may be a bit off because I learned this about five years ago...
