I'm praying so much that she's okay -

I feel awful for not being able to say or do anything to at least try and help

The best thing you can do right now is to keep yourself calm and remember that this was not a result of what you did or didn't do. From what I've seen, you've been a really good friend to her. That is all anyone can ever ask for. But you need to make sure to take care of yourself, too.
