What kills me is that the Bad Batch takes place right after Order 66. We’re still seeing clones, but they aren’t going to be performing the heroic acts and stuff bc they’re kind of brainwashed, and now the bad guys -
I’m just really hoping some clones are going to have good Commander Cody moment, he really needs redemption and I might actually cry if we just never knew what happened to him

I mean, Cody was first introduced in RoTS, most likely being given a name and a few lines to show that he was close with Obi-Wan, which would enhance the betrayal when Cody shot Obi-Wan down in attempts to kill him.
So he was only brought into Clone Wars because he HAD to be in it, or else we wouldn’t see that he was a good guy before Order 66 and RoTS. I mean, we didn’t see Rex or any others before that, so Cody was the only one that they kind of needed to be in the show.
