Thread Topic: Am I overreacting?

So I'm trying to find plains for Halloween. I'm a teenager, so I don't really trick or treat anymore. When I was looking for plains for Halloween, I meant like being able to do something with other teenagers. Like being invited to a Halloween Party.
My parents decided, as the only solution they have, to make Steven's birthday party a halloween party. I don't like that idea because:
That's Stevens Party.
It would only be Stevens friends there. Stevens friends who Steven gives me strict rules around.
I already filled my childhood bucket list. I want to do teenager stuff now.
I want to hang out with people my own age and have teenager experiences. Not replace those teenage experiences with children ones.
It makes me feel like a child...
When I told my parents I didn't like that idea, they seemed upset. They worked hard on a solution for me. Since it's unlikely that I'll get invited to a Teenager Halloween party... And I turned it down. Steven wasn't happy with the idea either in my defence.
So now I'm upset. I feel like I'm the bad guy. So am I the bad guy? Or is it perfectly reasonable to not like this idea? -
You're not the bad guy
lol -
Ok.
Honestly, if I can't find any Halloween plains I'll be fine with staying home while Steven trick or treats. I'll watch Halloween movies, eat junk food, and host a GTQ Halloween Party. That's my plain B. -
I feel like I shouldn't say this, but, I'm 13, I have an almost 16 year old brother and a 17 year old brother, and we all still trick or treat. It probably helps that we're all short. Anyway, you're not the bad guy, and personally, if we weren't aloud to trick or treat we would probably just have a party by ourselves, if we were aloud to.

You can always do what I did. I went and just hung out with my friends while we were in costumes and we passed out candy to the kiddos. Sometimes a small gathering is more fun than an actual party.
-
That's what I'm doing this year too lol
-
If you
have friends.
Dont live in the middle of no where.
And have the money to give candy away.
Then yes Moyashi. That would be a wonderful idea.
Sorry for the sarcasm. Thanks for the suggestion... But it wont work for me unfortunately. -
I don't know your life, no need to be sarcastic at all actually. :/
Make friends I guess. -
Just ask your friend if you can come over on halloween. Just 1 friend, doesn't have to be 2 friends+.
Some 1+1 time can be much more fun than a crowded sweaty loud party. -
I have plains for Halloween. Im going to be eating junk food, watching Halloween movies, and hanging out on GTQ.
Those are: Teenage girl with no friends who lives in the middle of no where who loves movies and hides her loneliness with the internet and loves cheese popcorn and DR. Pepper plains.

I'm just going to say this right here and right now because it's getting on my nerves:
It's spelled PLANS, not plains.
Plan: something you expect to do in the future.
Plain: Something average/normal and/or a large flat land with few trees. -
Sorry... I have very bad Grammar.
My friend Chance is big on grammar. Whenever he corrects my grammar I purposely use bad grammar to show him that I dont really care about grammar when Im talking to friends.
If youre 100% perfect at English when merely chatting with friends... I wouldnt even have the non-offensive/proper/non-exaggerating words... -
THANK THE LORDS SOMEONE FINALLY SAID SOMETHING IT WAS DRIVING ME CRAZY....PLANS....NOT PLAINS
