We've seen photos and everyday our reflections in the mirror,
But we've never actually seen ourselves.
Like
Not presently like how you see the human sitting in front of you or to the side. Their features, their hair, their body.
It has been proven that if we were to have an exact replica of ourselves right next to us we wouldn't recognise them because we see ourselves differently through reflections.
O.o" idk, was kind of spacing out in chemistry when I thought about this.
O.o and since we're learning about boring formulas, I started to think,
What if everyone sees us differently?
X thinks of a way to explain this because i'm not high and this is actually an intelligent sounding hypothesis X

Okay, so you know how everyone is all like ''oh, humans see colors differently, one might see hot pink one way, the other might see it just a tiny bit lighter"
Okay, so what if no no fuk don't leave my mind stop come back noooo

Okay so what if your face structure is actuallyy not what it looks
Or when you feel fat and everyone else is like no you're skinny
But your mind processes the image of fat and therefore that's what you mean
And how blue eyes are every other color othwr than blue since that's the color that's being reflected
O.o for all we know you and your friend might see your math teacher a slightly different way, but in the end the structure will resemble each other enough that if you were asked to describe it, it would be alike
And when they tell you that you are pretty it's because they can see thr features that are attractive, when at that time you just couldn't see them, they're there, you just can't focus on thm bc ur mind is on something else.
This wasn't my initial theory the other one actually made sense and was more in depth and stuff but i always let it fly off since my brain gets confused with all the letters.
But yeah.
The important thing is that it mames sense to me sort of in my initial thought and stuff but yeah just something to think about -
When you think about it like that, no one knows what anyone or anything looks like. ._.

It's all just your brains intrepetation of signals which are in turn caused by light waves, the only difference to how others see you and how you see yourself is how it is distorted

Cameras actually distort your image too though
Take a photo at a certain angle upward, and you'll be able to look differently than from one down below
