i always thought once you died you were eternally gone from the world and your spirit or anything like that is just gone and you just sit there rotting in the dirt. its pretty obvious spirits dont exist since the whole world is science. we make up these things like god and the bible stories that cant be proven and we believe them. its time to actually figure out how things happen and stuff. so what do you think being dead feels like/ is?

Well I believe in God. It's not like science has everything figured out, they have a lot of theories. Random people haven't come back and told the world what exactly happens after death.
This is what I believe:
Heaven is complete presence of God and hell is complete isolation of God. You can't determine where you go through good deeds because all humans are sinners. That is why Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us, so we could be with God in the afterlife. So really whether you go to heaven or not is your choice; do you choose to live in God's kingdom by accepting Jesus Christ and repenting for sins. Or do you turn away from God and want nothing to do with him? All I can say is I believe my God is a loving God, one who only wants the best for us and to be with us. The reason why sin is so bad is not to ruin our fun but it is actually bad for us. It's like sitting down and eating a chocolate cake. Sure it tastes good and you can get pleasure out of it, but in the end it makes you sick and empty. And He doesn't want anyone to go to hell but He is the all good and all holy so He can't tolerate sin and evil.
I didn't say all this to force anyone to believe like me. I just stated what I thought about the afterlife. I love you guys. -
wow ana-kin your like the coolest christian i have EVER met :D your devout, and faithful, but you respect other peeps.
i believe that, you just turn into a corpse. then dirt. then stone. and so on and so forth. end of story. when i think about it i don't see us any different from a piece of plastic or even..i don't know whatever. because everything has an infinite number of divisors and infinite number of dividends, and is infinitly carried away in scientific notaion. so in the end what you get is an infinite picture stretched out across all of time and movement, so that nothing ends, but also nothing begins. it's just an inanimate infinity of existence. so really, we are selves are just as inanimate as the next creature, or even rock, but yet we still THINK we exists, so what i figure is that next we'll just EXIST as corpse, then bones, then dust and so on...that's what i think -

tongue NewbieIt's a scary thought that when you die it all just ends, but I think that's just how it works. Nothing else really makes much sense.
