lgbt+ people are valid. they are just as good as cis and staying people. end of story
-
ugh.
*straight people -
^Literal gold.
What I want to know is simple. Throw religion out of the window for a second. What is your opinion now? -
People with different preferences are still f---ing people. If most people like vanilla ice cream and you like Rainbow Sherbet or some s---, you shouldn't have the vanilla-loving people think lowly you for having that preference.
-
Pretty much same as before
-
*throws religion outta window*
Still sucks. -
Absolutely nothing is wrong with being lgbt+
People should be able to love, be with, have sex with, or marry whoever they want to without judgement
Everybody deserves the right to have their own preferences without people constantly telling them that they have a "mental disease" or that something is wrong with them
Nobody deserves constant harassment or to have people think less of them for something they have no control over -
Cilantro NewbieGod made Adam and Eve. Not Adam and Adam or Eve and Eve. I don't believe in "Love is love, and God loves me that way".
No, it's a twist of words that you really have to unscramble and dig the meaning of. God loves you; but not your sins. As a Christian, being lgbt+ isn't "okay". But I'm not here to force anyone to listen to me. You guys can sort through your life throught the ups and downs, and let things be as they may. This is my opinion. I don't want to discuss this more than I should, if possible. :) -
I do not like this thread.
-
Also, in my honest opinion, I believe that religion is the worst thing that has happened to humanity. Just my opinion though.
-
I believe that there is nothing wrong with being LGBTQ+, and the only reason I've ever seen people disagree with this is because they are religious. It's fine to have a religion, but you shouldn't hate a minority that just wants to be accepted. Keep your religious views to yourself when it comes to controversial subjects like this because you don't know for sure whether or not God is real. No one knows. You could be praying to nothing but thin air for all I know.

Love is love. End if story.

in response to most people You guys are going to flip but the bible said nothing about gay relationships being wrong so maybe you can get yourself a bible and read.
-
^Technically true.
While it is true that the Bible never denounces gay relationships, and I personally believe they're fine, gay sex is something that is widely panned in both the Old and New Testaments.
Jesus himself never offered any insights on such acts though, as a note. Presumably, he'd have the same view of it that he had on regular sex, which is 'only after marriage.' Everything else is said second-hand by his disciples, which, while you should listen to, were still human and thus open to error. Really, this is a whole can of worms I really don't feel like opening, which has been discussed by people much smarter than you or I, multiple times.
Old Testament laws can be safely ignored, unless you're Jewish, or want to present the argue that 'straight sex only' is part of the moral law, in which case it still applies today.
