Thread Topic: What's the point of living?

That's what I've been thinking about lately. I've been in a pretty depressed and thoughtful mood lately, but just a bit curious. What are we living for? What am I living for? There's no means to take it to a religious context because I'm not religious at all, but now as a teenager I have no will to find the point of life or I just have no will to live that much. I find life boring and that I'll never get anything out of it, trying or not trying. Some things just are naturally given to people, and some things aren't and they're totally pushed around until they can jump on top of it and catch it.
I feel like a failure, a person with no future, no friends, can't depend on anything or anyone, my art is such a flop, school is treacherous as it is, and my family are so oblivious to the suffering I cause myself to go into.
There's really no point in life if it continues to f--- you anally.
So really, what's your interpretation of the point of life? -
Autism NewbieIf you feel that way, I suggest bleach.

There is no point in life. If there was a somewhat pleasant way to die with a 100% chance of successfully working, I'd probably do it. But that would never happen.
-
We die to live and live to die. Knowing that, before we die, we gotta make the best of the time we have.

I know you said you're not religious, but when the answer directly ties into religion I can't ethically lie to you just to make you feel better. That's more harmful than good. Plus, you asked what my interpretation of the point of life was.
The meaning of life is to praise God and seek a closer relationship with Him; proclaiming His greatness and fulfilling His will, of course.
Everything else is temporary, self centered and leaves you feeling hollow. -
Live fast and die young.
-
There's no greater purpose. We're a sad coincidence, so the purpose of your life is whatever you decide it is.
-
Live to eat.
-
To even be alive is something worth celebrating. Don't ask what the point of living is, living is the point itself.
-
Your life is whatever you make it. It doesn't matter what you believe religion-wise. Just be nice to others and do what you want to do with your life. (sounds easier than it is)
Your age is probably harder since you cant do anything in the world you want yet. since because parents and school and stuff. you could find a hobby or something, like you mentioned art. so what if you're bad at it. if you like it, do it.
after high school and when you're 18 and stuff then do whatever the f--- you want. go travel or something. and don't let anyone stop you from enjoying life and being yourself. -
