never you mind about the nyans nyan

OK so first of all, every portion of the bible was found at different places at different times and they all fit in together perfectly.
-
wow that's a really cool story that doesn't prove s--- nyan
-
Yes it does.
Who's nyan?
Second of all, everything that has been predicted in the bible has come to pass. -
Okay but it really doesn't
Such as? -
I'd just like to say that the Bible was written by man, not God, and it has myths in it because it's basically the center of Christian myths, and I think it's about time that people start looking at the Bible as just stories. Every religion has myths about everything. For example, the creation myth: Greeks thought there was nothing by a dark abyss, which was the goddess Nyx, and she took form of a bird, laid a golden egg, and the shell became the earth and sky. In Norse creation myth, there was a battle between two kingdoms, one was Asgard and the other was Giants, and Oden tore up the king giant (I think it was a giant) and it's body parts made earth and everything on it. And now, people think that these creation myths are so absurd that they don't even wait one second to say that it's false. So why are we treating Christianity different?

^ahahaha that's my wife nyan

There are no myths about the Bible in that, what are you trying to prove if you can't give me something to relate to?

What? .-.

joshbrewer NewbieCan i ask one question how can we develop from a fish to a chimp to a neanderthal to a human
-
You gave me nothing to relate to so say I don't know squat about the Bible (which I do) how do I know what sort of 'myths' are in the bible if you can't show me one?
-
And then there was the flood of the world. You probably heard of the story of Noah's Ark, right? Well, to Hindus (and Hinduism, by the way, is the oldest known religion), a God named Vishnu took form of a fish, and a man helped the fish because he asked to be rescued because he was so small. The man did and when the fish was big enough to go back to the ocean, he thanked the man for his kindness and in return, he told the man to build a large ship and fill it with seeds and every kind of animal he can because a flood was coming. The man did so, and when the flood came, Vishnu pulled the ship to safety.
