No, it was during the age when Siddhartha (a prince in India (I think)) was shielded of death and sickness and war by his dad, so he decided to sneak out and walk through the town. He was the horrible things and decided to take a spiritual trip. He became the Buddha, and spent 45 years preaching. He then died in 480BCE. During his time, he taught that nothing is permanent, it's pointless to trust in something that is not permanent, and that humans don't have permanent souls (they change a little when we reincarnate). He also taught that life involves suffering, suffering originates in our desires, and suffering will cease if desires cease. Yep, that must be demons talking.

I'm not saying the flood didn't happen. I'm just saying that different religions have different variations of it.

My mom's a Hindu
-
That's cool. My mom says that she's Catholic with Hindu aspects.
-
Well then you still haven't proven that the Bible is a myth.
-
Oh, my mom is an Indian and my dad is British
-
The Bible isnt a myth. The stories inside the Bible are. You still haven't proven that they're not a myth.
-
So were you brought up Hindu, or just didn't really have a religion?
-
the base of Christianity, Judaism , goes much further back though. All the way back to the time of the Mesopotamian World era. And also, the book of Revelation has predicted many events including WWII, which is something that cannot be argued because we have still-accurate sources from the tine period.

I go with Christianity, I don't really believe in religions I would say I'm an agnostic
-
Hinduism was founded around 2300 BCE. Judaism was founded in 1800 BCE.
Is your dad a Christian? -
Yup

Joining the convo.
I'm a Hindu though I don't worship Hindu gods. -
Which state do you live in aadee?

I think it's great that two people of different religions got married then (I'm assuming they're married).
My teacher told me that some Hindus don't worship a god, and I think that made me like this religion even more because it's like Hindus don't care if you worship a god or not. It's basically about being good to each other.
