I'm pretty sure you can get much more information on the internet about a certain region in the world than you can by reading a book.
Reading is just ONE PART of the internet
I don't see why electronics are being hated on and books are treated like they're so good for you?
It's actually EASIER to scroll through Twitter and talk to someone than it is to talk while reading. Neither allow eye contact but you can still talk and listen to people much easier while on your phone than reading, why are just electronics being hated on for taking away social interaction?
If you're reading your parents are like "Oh let him/her read it's okay"
But if you're on your phone they're like "GET OFF YOUR PHONE AND TALK TO PEOPLE"
I don't think I've ever learned like anything from a book, do you know much s--- I have learned from the internet what kind of logic even is this -
I am a little of both, combined with outside.

Why would kids want to play outside do they learn anything from that no they don't -

My mom keeps lecturing me about how I lack social interaction but the main reason I go on the internet is to get on GTQ, the place where all of my friends are, I don't see how this lacks social interaction?
But she doesn't know about GTQ of course because if she did I'd be killed so again what the f--- kind of logic is this -

I have learnt mostly everything I know about mythology from books. I enjoy reading them, and it's a bonus if they carry information in them.

@Luna But the thing is, there's virtual books on the internet so..? And other information...like, I just think it's ridiculous how if you're reading an actual book your parents are fine with it but if you're on your phone 'too much' they get upset
But then you're like "Oh, but I'm reading on my phone" and they're like "Ohhhh reading!!! :) Okay have fun!" -
Like, there's other ways to get information other than reading. If your parents see you on Twitter or something, they automatically assume you're stalking celebrities or whatever s--- normal people do
