that doesn't use oil.
The downsides to oil is that it pollutes the water and increases the thinness of the ozone layer, therefore making less oxygen in the earth and allowing the earth's atmosphere to get thinner. Oil also takes up valuable space and digging it up causes a lot of smoke and space. People will soon run out of money and OPEC will soon run out of oil making the current society collapse. We're too dependant on things. All we have to do is lower the prices of electric cars and then bam, maximum production and lots of cash for the car company.
What do you all think? -

How do we generate enough electricity to run the electric cars if we're not burning oil anymore?

I don't know, maybe they can make a car that runs on oxygen. That would be cool.

Well, pure oxygen IS extremely flammable. But how do we extract (I think that's the right word) it without electricity?

hm, I don't know. What about cars that run on...um...water? Would that work out?

Water is already used to generate electricity, at least where coal is concerned. The coal heats the water that spins the turbine.
I think Rain has the closest bet at the moment; bio fuels make the most sense with the resources we have. -

Well yeah, but when we run OUT of oil, what are we going to use? OPEC will lose all of their money, making the Middle East poor and soon their countries will collapse into famine and such, and soon the same will happen to the US because we don't have much oil of our own.
