No it isn't. It's a small Caribbean island that got the s--- bombed out of its agriculture, lost all of its economic support, and had a huge embargo put on it among other things. It's poor, but not because of communism.

I'm for freedom as well as compassion, so I think capitalism would work a lot better if people had a moral conscience and helped those who are struggling economically.
