Thread Topic: I have some maths problems ?
-
2y + 33 = 4e +99
What is the value of y and e here ? -
I still can't imagine a 15 year old who has a problem with such simple stuff like this.
-
Can you answer it?
-
Yes , i know how to solve this sum doodle.I was just asking everybody.It is solved like this -
2y + 33 = 4e +99
2y-4e = 99-33
Now, you can get the answer.
:) -
Wrong.
-
Incorrect.
If you use subsition like I will, one of the variables must be set to one side while everything else is on the other side because this is a system of equations. Then you solve for said variable.
2y = - 33 + 4e + 99
2y = 4e + 66
y = 2e + 33
Then you substitute the value into the original equation using the variable you solved for.
2(2e + 33) + 33 = 4e + 99
4e + 66 + 33 = 4e + 99
4e + 99 = 4e + 99
The value on both sides are exactly the same, so the solutions are infinite.
(ooh please let me be correct.) -
**substitution god dammit liz

ilovepuppyz NoviceAm I really going to have to learn that?
-
It's easy. It's all just a matter of remembering the steps.
-
ilovepuppyz NoviceYeah, sure. What ever.
-
Someone older and more experienced than you is telling you it's easy. Don't be a b----.
Yes, Arisu, you are correct. -
ilovepuppyz NoviceWell! You should have thought about it before telling someone that something is easy when you know its harder for them than for you! Good gosh!
-
pup, calm your nipples.
-
Oh! My i was wrong...Sorry!:)And bye and Thanks!
-
in algebra substitution was my favorite followed by factorization...
