Paper is nothing but an object that is slim and course. It should hold no value. Even if you write a speech such as this one, or are in the FBI and need to secretly pass on a letter for someone's job.
Money is like paper. It is small and used to gain things. Only difference is that it holds value. But for what purpose does it have this value? And why do we use it?
Notice how we are throwing away millions of peoples' lives all for Money. People go homeless. And here's what I ask of you. Why are we sitting as desks doing work, or running around serving people, when we all know someone could just as easily throw us out onto the street for not having a good job? For not getting enough money?
We think of money as a piece of paper that holds much value. People hand money to others. Why should we have to use money, however? Why are we throwing people out on the streets or letting them die in hospitals because we don't have money? This method of life is stupid and reckless. People should still have homes. They should still have a life with good food without having to "pay" fees.
We all could share everything. People could still work without having to worry about getting money. Maybe the reward for work could be more food. People could live, being careless, without having money. Some people sent to hospitals don't get service because we don't have insurance or money. We don't need that slip of paper. It shouldnt hold value. It makes people greedy, sad, feeling useless if they don't have it.
We would all live in a better world without money. Sharing is the main idea. Living to another day is a main idea. Being happy is the best idea.
So the main question for you is:
What are you going to do with your pieces of paper? -
This is incredibly well written. And very inspiring. I agree with you, why do we constantly throw people's lives away for paper? Very nice piece.
-
Agreed. We had this discussion in school last year.
-
UnLoving NewbieI don't agree with this, but it was very well thought-out :) Nice job
-
You learn well.
And to add to these points, this is why we need a new social order. One where there is no money. One where there is no such thing as private property and where no one person holds domain over anything or anyone.
I agree with you. -
@Lucky; Ohmygawd. I thought it was written like a third grader wrote it. That was my goal. Yay~ Thank you.
@Jill; I wish it would come to everyone's attention.
@Unloving; May I ask you why you don't agree?
@Appa; Learn well? Whut.
We do need that too. We need everything. -
UnLoving NewbieI just don't understand how the world could function. Wont out money, everything would have to free. If everything was free, everyone would be greedy and take everything. Money is the only thing that protects the world from this raging greed inside of us.
-
UnLoving NewbieNo comment or what??

I say...... We stick to eating watermelon, we get so sick of it. The government actually gets nice and gives us money. C:
-
@Unloving; The world is already full of greed. People already take what they want, and some kill for it. If everything was equal then we all might have a chance. Money is what destroys us and makes us learn the greed. We can't get rid of the greed unless we get rid of the deed.
And by the way; No everyone HAS to answer as soon as possible. -
@Anime: ...Um, but the whole point of this was to GET RID of money. Or at least allow me to state my opinion on it.
-
Ohh... but how do we pay with stuff? Our poop or pee? Do you know how bad humanity would be without money. Even though we wouldn't be in danger by our environment anymore
-
I agree with you so much, Dark.
And to bring it up, (I've been talking a lot about this with my family) what we need to do is go back to bartering/trading. Where you give someone something like a chicken and they give you a bag of grain. And you can trade up to more expensive things. For example, you could slowly work your way from an iPod to a car. Now, I think money would still have to exist to make this kind of economy work well. (to pay for restaurants or things like that) but it would change things for the better if we just started trading again. -
(My first post was worded stupidly because I was being stupid.)
To understand it you'll have to think outside of capitalist parameters. Right now, if we were to just get rid of money, it would be a disaster. Our system simply isn't designed for it.
People are greedy because they don't have what they need.
A new system will have to arise in which everyone is given what they need and there is no such thing as ownership (things are "owned" in common, therefore ownership as we know it is obsolete). At least in my opinion, we need to go all the way. -
UnLoving NewbieTrue, people are greedy about money.
Everyone is guilty about being greedy over money.
But they can't be greedy about it; the money they get is earned fair and square with hard work. It's not like they can come in and steal a bunch of it.
If there was no money, people could be greedy; they could take everything.
Yes, some kill for it. But they don't get away with it, ya know.
I know...just thought I should bump.
You know, trading really should be worked into out current system. Lovely suggestion :)
