I'm sorry,but I really hate this 'newbie' or 'Old GTQ user' thing.All these damn unwritten rules some people on here seem to have,trolls and all this other s--- you see here..it's like..ugh just get the f--- over it and love eachother.It's like,quit calling eacother newb or whatever,go by username theres a reason why it's there.I mean I hate to say it but it's like,it's just a forum-I mean I know it feels so much more than that to a lot of you,but really thats what it is,no need to bully anyone or whatever.
Then agian it's the internet >.> eh,probably gonna get killed for this but oh well. -

Anyways, yeah you're right, but I think when it comes to things like moderators "older users" should get to do that because they know the site better and most of them are more 17-22 range and (probably) more mature. -

Omgod yes. I'm tired of being judged by my age/joining date. People need to get to know us before randomelly labeling me as annoying just because I'm still considered a "newb"

I've never done that. I treat users based on how they act and whether they're a--holes or not.
There are some absolutely wonderful new peoples, and then there are the jerkfaces I could live without ever meeting.
tl;dr jade is right, don't judge by join date, judge by the content of their character. -
No one has called me a Newb before but I hated it when I first joined. People were treating me like I didn't know anything and they were suprsided to see I was a second user. I'm sick of this.

I don't think there are a lot of older users who call newbies newbs. The closest I've ever come is telling someone who hadn't been here a week that they didn't run the place.
Personally I feel like it's more of a stigma put in place by the grey area. People who really haven't been here long enough to be "old users" but don't fall under "newbies" either. It's a a sense of power for them to put down newbies. And then the newbies grow up feeling like that's how the older users act.
