Oh shut up. Humanity has always been this violent and gorey. Ever heard of Jack The Ripper? Vlad the Impaler? Those two did much worse.

Along time ago people at the skin of people they won wars over, some even wore the fallen warriors skin like clothes. Cannibalism has been around for a long time. People used to eat people because it was supposedly a thing for immortality. Others did it so they could have the knowledge of their fallen enemies. Some just did it for survival.
