When I was really little and we used to have water gun fights in the house and blast loud music from the radio. My older brother and I did the dishes together- he'd wash them and hand them to me and I'd dry them. We ate lots of twinkies and key lime pie yogurt, and my mom used to make these tiny smoked sausage thingies that I loved, and we had a bonfire or two. We used to live with a horrible guy next to a corn field, and we'd wander through the corn field in our free time and play with daddy long legs, and use a little play school medical kit to get rid of the ticks that were constantly eating us as well as our dog. We cracked an entire dozen of eggs into my little brother's drawer and got in all kinds of trouble for it, and my older brother and I went out into the shed where we found a tin with a bunch of live mice running around in it. We also found a yellow and white flecked belt which we didn't recognize as a snake until it started moving. I shared a room with my younger sister when she was still sleeping in a crib, and I remember waking up really late one night because my mom woke me up to show me a new dog we'd just gotten- a Basset Hound named Maggie. I don't think we had Maggie for long, but we also had a Siberian Husky named Chloe, and she protected us. When we were little, we used to try and ride her like a horse, but she always ran right out from under us. There was some kind of gas tank or something in the back, and the day we were able to climb to the top of it was the day we became "big kids". That was definitely the happiest period of my life.

I'd have to say probably 5-9. I was so innocent. I didn't care what others thought of me- In fact, I think I felt pleased when I was considered weird. I got my first pets sometime through this period, and they brought me a lot of joy. I was carefree. I started horseback riding when I was eight, and after that year I haven't felt so...I don't know, naive. I had strong foundations and always stood up for my beliefs. I remember my mom telling me not to eat raisins until I ate my dinner. I snuck the reasons under the table, ducked my head under the tablecloth and snuck the raisins. That haunted me for a long time, that I had disobeyed my mom like that. I just think it's funny how something so stupid and silly would bother me so much. I was just so simple. I miss that, although if I had a chance to relive it, I don't think I would.
