Well, one night my dad was telling my little sister and I stories of when he was younger (my dad has plenty). He decided to tell us about his aneurysm. He was eighteen when he got it. One of his arteries exploded. Literally. They had to put a titanium clip to hold it together. It was practically ripped in half. It was just a miracle he survived it. The doctors said no one has ever survived an aneurysm like his. Thank God my dad has a beyond average pain threshold. Any normal person would have died from the pain. Instantly. My dad had this aneurysm for a week. And after the surgery, the doctor said he couldn't eat anything because he would end up throwing it all up. And that he could only drink sips of water. Instead, my dad had his parents buy him a huge McDonalds cheese burger and get him a gallon of that tummy stuff for kids. He drank the entire gallon and the cheese burger without throwing up. And, the gallon of that stuff was gone in less than a minute. I think my dad is in the Genius World Records book. :) My dad was a medical hero. He taught the doctors a lot about how to handle aneurysms better. That's why more people survive it now than in the 1970's-80's. :3 Hurray for my Dad! :D

Now I wonder why my dad doesn't have any stories to tell -.- besides being in the army fighting for his country and getting over 200 stitches on different parts of his body but he won't be going in any books because he is probably forgotten already D: -
I know how you feel about someone in your family being in the army and what-not. My uncle's in the army. He's in Afghanistan right now-he's super homesick. As in, "I'd-to go-home-even-if-I-had-to-die" homesick. :/ Don't worry. Everyone has a story to tell. My dad just has a lot. His strength is just kinda..beyond normal. Your dad has stories. Just hasn't told them yet. :3
