Okay well
Mister is encouraging me to take a district exam.
Not really a exam, but.. More of a "showcase of artist talent" thing. Basically I'll go to a district building one day, and I'll be there with a bunch of kids and we'll all be given a period of time to draw something. If the work pleases them, we'll be recognized as "artistically gifted" by the district and schools here.
The last day of school, he told me about it. And I do like the idea and everything, and I'm willing to try but..
Im doing this to impress him, also for myself but I really want to do it for him too. He said he was going to be willing enough to take some time out of his schedule to help me 'get ready' and fill out applications and that alone means a lot for me. He seemed pretty enthusiastic about it.
Sincerely, as you guys already know, he's the only person that shows confidence and some sort of pride in me. He encourages me for many things and he's super kind with me but at the same time he makes sure I notice the reality of things.
I feel like I'll fail this test because I dont have much confidence in myself, and that's what holding me back from doing it.
And if I feel like that if I fail, Ill kill the hope of the only person who seems to have hope in me.
And that is a very ugly feeling.
This is one of the problems with me, I'm too scared to try anything because I've disappointed so many people by doing that.. -
I'm sorry I didn't see this thread earlier. Arisu, you're awesome, and I really like your art. I know that feeling of not being good enough, I really do. But we believe in you and know the amazingness you're capable of, the amazingness that you are. :3 So give it your best and whether you win it or not you can say that you tried and took the opportunity. If there's things you're not confident in right now, know that you still have a lot of time to improve and practice. You'll be great at whatever you choose to do and I sincerely mean that. And if you ever need help with something I'll always do whatever I can.

But don't worry,I'm sure you'll do great.^ like Ana said you can do anything you put your heart into.I believe in you.
