My family are South Korean, North Korea must die!

Because there was a war between them and the North Koreans had attacked the South Koreans withought a reason, so they were like, battle hungry basdards, and they built tunnels underground to reach South Korea but they heard them from the dynamite and kicked them out.

How come its not just one Korea?

It WAS one Korea, but then they devided in to two Koreas because the people in the North attacked the South.

Ya I knew it had been but I figured there was something that split them apart before the north attacked the south cause then where would you really draw the line between the two?

They did a border between eachother, the war had lasted about 50 years. They had finally decided to settle down in 2006, but there was a ship in South Korea and they think that the North Koreans bombed it and now something is being stirred up. -_-

tongue ExperiencedKorea was divided after WW2 when it was made independent of Japan. It was split because of disputes between the US and the Soviet Union. The North is communist, and the South is democratic. The North invaded the South in 1950. The US drove them back North and even tried to wipe out the North and unite the country. Then China got involved and the war pretty much became a stalemate. The Korean War ended in 1953, but troops from both sides have been near the border ever since.
