Why I've had imaginary friends: When I was really young, I had no friends, was poor, my parents were fighting a lot, I lived in a horrible neighborhood and nobody would listen to me. I had bad luck and things were happening left and right, and I was being overwelmed with life. Because I had nobody to talk to, I created imaginary friends/enemies.
My Imaginary Friends/Enemies:
Captain Stephan Foley
Age: 7-8
This was during really hard times, but my older brother came over for a visit and brought the Call of Duty game, and in the game, there was Cpt. Foley. I thought he was really brave (even if it was only a game, lolz, remember I was younger) and thus, my imaginary friend Cpt. Stephan Foley was born. He was my diciplinary guy, like if I was thinking about suicide, I would imagine him trying to cheer me up and tell me its not worth it. This is really stupid but at times I sometimes pictured him as my imaginary boyfriend :\
Pinkie
Age: 5-6
Pinkie was a pink stuffed elephant I bought with my birthday money when I was younger, but I imagined that Pinkie could talk, and that he would give me advice about what to do in bad situations.
Woof
Age: 4-5
Woof was a big stuffed dog that my parents gave me for my birthday. When I was really upset with someone, I would pretend Woof was that person and would strangle my stuffed animal until I felt better.
There are a ton more, and occasioanlly I'll admit I do bring up new imaginary friends when I'm at my worst even at the age I am now :\ It's just my way of copeing with really bad situations. Idk.
People who think this is stupid... don't post, seriously. Everyone has had an imaginary friend/enemy, so if you want to explain your friend/enemy then you can talk about it here =) -
Stony. I made him up when I was 4, only so I could blame all the bad things I did on someone.

I know exactly what you mean and I have my own imaginary friends. I'm kinda tired to go into it now, but Carolyn has been my best friend since 6th grade. She's like the voice of reason in my head, knows everything I'm going through and stuff.

Why i had imaginary friends- i got bored
imaginary friends- when i was 7 i had a best friend named jonathan...my god he was such an awesome kid. then he ran over my dog with his bicycle...thats when i got rid of jonathan.

Everfield, a stuffed tiger as big as me, that looked freakishly real.
I played with her when I was around 10-13, then she was ripped to shreds by Grey, my nephew.
Everfield was a friend and protector, I never felt alone with her. Id tell her my secrets....I'm going to murder Grey.... -
Raffin, I've had him for two years. He tries to calm me....ya, he sucks at that.

Carolyn is bisexual, and she used to date Vanessa who was also one of my imaginary friends (back in 6th grade) but Vanessa left to go study art in Greece.
