  I'm a little ambivalent about the N word in hip-hop. It's just there really. I kind of feel that rap has lost its intelligence anyway.

  True about rap losing intelligence.
  I just don't see why they get offended anymore. Nobody uses nigg er like "I" or "love" as much as they do. They know what they're saying, and their using of it doesn't help their so-called "social inequalities" that they are fighting for.

  I wasn't even aware Rap had intelligence in it. It's usually just about sex, drugs, money, and hating on white people in some songs.

  There is intelligent rap music- Nas, Jay-Z, 2Pac, Public Enemy. Public Enemy especially.

  Absolutley, Demonjoe. I'd be the first to know that rap is intelligent. All I hear even if censored on the radio (I mean da beat box) is the n, f, and b word blocked, sex, drugs, power, rims, gold teeth, pitbulls, and hate.

  1. Not even proper music, it's just talking really fast.
  
  2. Like you say about drugs, racism, sex, alchol.

  i agree with you tounge. i mean, i dont really care for the word: either in rap music or in the sensitive issue 'cause people use it: blacks do, whites do, a lot of people use it. i dont ever notice the word, though cause i dont care about it, honestly.
