  I think the death penalty should be abolished. As a Christian, I do not believe it is moral to take a life as vengeance for another. Jesus says to forgive and turn the other cheek, and I believe we should do that instead of committing an act of violent retribution.

  I don't think its fair either but i'm not a Christian. Even though whoever is going to die did something really bad they shouldn't be killed unless they want to be.

  Well, it's one of those issues that's hard for me to choose a side on. There are monsters out there, and they shouldn't be allowed into the outside world. But I believe it is indeed murder to take their life. So all and all, I don't support it. ._.

  But I am against it. I think it's hypocrisy on the Government's side, if we're not allowed to kill, they shouldn't be either.

  I strongly oppose the death penalty for numerous reasons, but mostly because it is hypocritical. And also the killers have families who care about them. To supposedly reconcile the pain of the victim's family, the death penalty creates pain for the killer's family. There are actually public policy groups founded by people whose family members were murdered that oppose the death penalty. They basically realize that killing the murderer doesn't ease their pain and that the system puts the family of the murderer through the same pain. It's really interesting if you ask me.

  Everybody makes mistakes. Some people commit crime but it is really unfair. No one have the right to take one's life away.
