I never thought I'd see the day that this war ended. We still have 50,000 troops in the country, but the U.S. is no longer involved in combat operations. This ugly chapter in our history is over at last.

We've had more than a few ugly chapters in our history, and there's always been an ugly underbelly to American society. But we're out of Iraq!
