Yesterday fromer Governor Rod Blagojevich (D-IL) was found guilty of only one out of 24 charges pressed against him. That one charge the jury found him gulity of was lying to the FBI. In case you don't recognize his name, this is the guy who tried to sell then-Senator Barack Obama's Senate seat after he was elected President of the United States. There was plenty of audio proving he was gonna sell the Senate Seat and proving he was conspiring to other crimes like bribery. I wouldn't be surprised to later find out that this at least one person in this jury was bought off. That's just how Chicago works. Their politics are among the most corrupt in the country. Hell, the state is in general known for corrupt politicans. The last Governor, Paul Ryan (R-IL) was thrown in prison and is still currently serving I think. There is gonna be a retrail on this so there is still a chance that Rod Blagojevich will still go to jail for a long time.

tongue NewbieBla-goy-a-vich is how it's pronounced.
Yea, Blago got off big time. And you'd think that if they could get him for perjury they could get him for something else. I don't hate the guy for what he did as much as I hate him for dickishly maintaining his innocence and just being the most annoying human being on the face of the Earth. For me, his biggest crime is being an arrogant a--hole. -
he got off easy to tell ya da truth. hez mostly jest an a--hole b----tard. he should of been held for all of hiz charges though.

Tsk tsk, corruption. I'm sick of that going unpunished in America.
