and I didn't look it up, I actually know what they are. I guess there are different types of supplements and their uses. I understand where the gov't would ban supplments for the use of reducing appetite, but I agree with you on other cases.

I take vitamin D, that's what I was wondering about.
Vitamin D doesn't make you not want to eat. -

For the use of just trying to control eating habits as in making you not hungry, I see there's a problem b/c there are safer ways to lose weight, if that's the person's goal. But for rare cases, I don't think there's anything wrong with it.
