Yeah I do Cor; freedom of speech FOOL!
I guess, Dj. -
didn't you already say that?
-
sure. legalize it. let the people be the people. its a free country, therefore free to marry whoever you please as long as the judge certifies. and they agree
-
tongue NewbieI almost think it's better to marry someone of your own gender rather than the opposite gender just because men and women are so different. Of course you can't just choose to be gay or to be straight- you are what you are naturally.
-
I've heard women can choose to be gay, straight, or bisexual.
-
i agree with core everyone has a right to be with the one they love
-
tongue NewbieYea women try to be bisexual cuz guys like it or try to be lez cuz guys are so undesirable, or that's the thought at least. But homosexuality isn't a choice- it's genetic. If gays choose to be gay, that would have to mean that straights choose to be straight. I'm quite sure I didn't choose to be straight- I just know instinctively that I am.
-
I'm all for people being with whom they love, if it just so happens to be with someone of their own gender then so be it.
-
Well marriage is joining together before God, right?
And in the Bible it says to kill homosexuals.
So that's probably why they aren't allowed to be married. Kinda makes sense.
Unless it's that civil ceremony thing. -
It would make sense if it wasn't for the fact that the Constitution says that "Congress shall make no law respecting an established religion", and since making a law based on what the Bible says would imply that this country's established religion is Christianity so a Federal ban on gay marriage is unconstitutional, I don't know if it's the same when the State does but banning a specific group from getting married still violates the 14th Amendment under Equal treatment under the Law.
-
I guess.
People are creatures of habit. If people don't want gays to get married then they won't because that's what their parents taught them. And that's what their parents' parents' told them... S'a cycle. -
Same with religion, same with life, same with all the crap that our parents 'teach' us.
-
Not always; you can't generalize life.
-
But life is a very general thing.
-
But you can't say the same thing will happen to every 6 billion+ in their lives.
