Eh, I'm just making a point, I dunno if anyone else is thinking this.
technically its a bit contradicting
isn't being married your own choice and right and not the government's? like i said before, if the ban is legalized, the ability to fight is abolished, basically we're fighting for the right to fight. (oh god i said fight too many times) -
and a lot of people don't seem to like you for some reason.

johninMI NewbieIt's all about my veiws towards gay marraige, Carri. If I had said right off the bat that I liked gay marraige, nobody would be on my back right now. Really you guys are hung up on the whole marraige thing. I've said I support civil unions. I support the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. I even said I'd invite a gay kid who got kicked out of their house to live with me. That's an awful lot of positive for me to get so much negative in return.

john, I'm a christian as well. And although I don't exactly think gay/bi people are right...they're just normal human beings like us, and they should have the same rights.
Saying you can be in a gay relationship but not get married is rather stupid.
I do not think gay marriage should be banned. -
Being gay doesn't mean that you won't have the same rights... In your life you make choices. Being gay is not a choice, but something that normally exists in out life. And yes, marriage is about love. Why people can't be proud of their love? Being gay doesn't mean you can't show that you're in love. Moreover that's one of the reasons that I am not christian. So, God doesn't love everybody...

As I've already said who-knows-how-many-times, gay people are still human beings, and should have the same rights as us.
