Not standing for theanthem or something is literally the most peaceful way of protesting it.

Dat_girl_ NewbieWe fought for his freedom and if we didn't have freedom he wouldn't be here so he should be lucky that he is in San Francisco, but it's his choice and we he refuses to stand :/
-
You feel that it's wrong for him not to stand for this song you like, so passionately that you felt the need to make this thread slandering his name, but you've been awfully understanding of all of these police killing unarmed black men. That's pretty sad, friend.
-
"How dare he exercise the rights he has (which, by the way, are the values your soldiers fought for) in protest of the unlawful deaths of several people who are being brushed under the rug and treated as if they deserve what happened to them. Things could somehow be worse, so he should just shut up and deal with it."
-
Dat_girl_ NewbieI'm not he's wrong it his choice, but we fought for his freedom.
-
Dat_girl_ NewbieWell he's wrong
-
Okay, first of all, you didn't fight for s---. Quit saying "we". You're fighting to keep him quiet. You're fighting to repress his right to peaceful protest. You're the opposite of what the soldiers you praise fight for.
-
Second of all, in what way is he wrong?
-
Dat_girl_ NewbieI'm not saying I did. How I'm the opposite
-
these soldiers can have a lot of different oppinions, who knows what they fight for.
army discounts maybe? who knows -
Dat_girl_ NewbieI'm just saying my opinions
-
BLM is too much hype though
-
You're saying "we". You're not part of the group that fought for his rights. The people who fought for his rights defended his right to protest peacefully. He is exercising that right. Just because things could be worse doesn't mean he has to accept a terrible situation at face value.
You are the opposite because you'd rather deny him the rights they fought to defend. I really don't see how this is so difficult for you to grasp. -
I understand that there are some cops that use deadly force when not necessary. But it has nothing to do with race and everything to do with the officer being unskilled. If it were a white man the same thing would happen. The man that was killed in Charlotte was killed by a black officer. The man was unarmed. So your gonna say the officer was racist?

Dat_girl_ Newbieit's his choice we can't make him do anything
