Oh, for f---s sake, it's intentional.
He wrote a f---ing book about exactly this, and people are still falling for it. He's literally playing fourth dimensional chess while everyone else is struggling to understand the chess board.
Let me break it down so the younger among you can understand WHY Donald had his wife mimic Michelle's speech, because clearly there will be no intelligent discussion here.
A few sentences of a seventeen minute speech happens to have a passing resemblance to Michelle's speech. And because of such, every news station in America and, as it turns out, IN MY COUNTRY (YOU f---ERS), are talking about it; posting the entire thing, or the relevant parts of it to point this out. This is classic Trump free media.
Her speech is now out in full force on every site, no matter how liberal or conservative it is.
He puts forward something that LOOKS like a mistake, then everyone jumps on it, it gets everywhere, everyone talks about it, then he turns around and goes 'oh, that thing? Intentional. Here's why I did it. You can't stump me.' And suddenly, all that 'bad media?' Is good media. He's been doing it all election.
The media, and of course, you idiots, then go and reinforce the message.
Now, the question is, why this speech? If any of you were literate, you'd know what 'thinking past the sale' is. It's when someone trying to sell you something talks to you like you've already bought it. "So what music are you thinking of listening to in your car?" It's obvious.
The idea here is to give publicity to his wife, and mentally connect her to the concept of 'first lady.' By drawing the comparison between her and Michelle, the viewer is drawn to see them both as first ladies, and are therefore more predispositioned to seeing her in the white house and voting for Trump.
After all, he's selling you the idea as if you've already bought it. "My wife is a first lady.'
And you know what? He's right. You've completely bought it, hook, line, and sinker. -
That's horrifying that someone would probably this. Plus that was super dumb cause people will/can tell and find out.
