After six years of activity in the forums, I've decided that I will be stepping away for good. I thought that the Wine Cellar would be the best place to post this, because the Wine Cellar was the forum that ultimately brought me into the fold. Those of you reading this probably didn't know me that well because my activity on this site has tapered off in the past year or so. A lot has changed in my six years here, when I started I was 17, had no friends, was still in high school, didn't even have a driver's license. Now I'm 23, holding a steady job, working on finishing a college degree, and forming meaningful relationships with people. More than anything though, I actually enjoy life now. Before I was running away from reality, and coming on this site was something of an escape. The way I see it, we all have to face reality eventually, so it is better to embrace it than to try escaping it. And that's really why I'm leaving. I'm not mad at anyone, I'm not leaving to avoid anyone, it's time to do something else.

Well, I didn't and don't know you well enough but it's good that you are enjoying life now. That's good.

I don't think anyone will forget you, but it's a bold and courageous thing for anyone to admit such things.

We did not know each other very well, but I will miss you. You were one if the users here I liked seeing post. Probably because disagreed with your political agenda entirely, but that isn't really the point...

aw s--- man, this blows. I always thought yiu were one of the smartest people here and always read your posts if i saw them. I never talked to you, but you were still pretty cool in my eyes.
