I don't know much about politics, I don't pretend to know much about politics, nor do I care to know much about politics.
But, from what I do know, Bernie Sanders seems to be the best 2016 US presidential candidate by far
So, what are all your opinions on him? Educate me lol -
What makes barnie seem like an attractive canidate to you?

What What NewbieI actually respect Bernie Sanders somewhat. He's far better than Hillary the corrupt liar. At least he's honest about the fact he's a democratic socialist. If I were a liberal, I definitely would like his authenticity, over candidates who only say things to get elected.
But I'm not a socialist, so I can't say he's my vision of what would be best for my country. -
Well, my knowledge is *extremely* limited, I don't usually involve myself with politics
But from what I've heard, Bernie seems to be the only candidate with real plans for the country that will actually better us. He seems to care more about the well-being of the country, rather than military advancements, which I don't believe we need
Also, what exactly is a socialist? Like I said I have extremely limited knowledge on politics -
in theory Socialism is a social and economic system characterised by social ownership and/or social control of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy, as well as a political theory and movement that aims at the establishment of such a system.
In practice, it means larger government, significantly higher taxation, and business regulation; however in exchange, citizens (and often non citizens) are entitled to massive governmental benifits and aid when it comes to medical cost, housing cost, food cost..pretty much everything.
in addition incentives are artificially added to reduce individual surplus in order to support the social welfare system.
in many ways, socialism is the compromise between communism and capitalism and has proved to be the most often successful economic system yet implemented in the modern age.
