G-VINE FLORAISON GIN
The Gvine distillery has redefined Gin. Instead of using a grain spirit, like most Gin distillers, they use a grape sprit, infused with the rare vine flowers berry - Ugni-Blanc (which blossoms only for a few days in the summery days of June) and 10 fresh whole-fruit botanicals. This cycle is called Floraison in French. This Gin is produced in the region of Cognac, where they certainly know their grapes.

MAURITIUS DARK RUM
Gold of Mauritius is a wonderful representation of this idyllic Island, produced from the molasses of the island's sugar cane, and aged in oak barrels that previously contained port wine, taking back the rough edges whilst imparting colour, flavour and aroma. It's dangerously drinkable.
~"92 points. Real fine stuff, real fine. Smoother than Steve McQueen." -
EDDU SILVER PUR BLEH NOIR WHISKY
In 1986 Guy Le Lay, the current head of the distillery, wanted to do things differently, so he started distilling Whisky out of buckwheat; yes BUCKWHEAT, which is perhaps a *tad* unorthodox for typical Whisky aficionados, but it's a must try if you want to expand your flavour horizon.
And one more thing! Eddu Silver is aged in fine French oak casks formerly used to mature COGNAC. I like that. And so will you.
TYRCONNELL 10 YO MADEIRA
Possibly the highest rated Irish Whiskey, Tyrconnell 10 is finished in Madeira casks for an added layer of greatness.
With the obvious smoothness that is classic to most Irish Whiskies, this 98-point delight is not to be missed in your Home Bar.

FEW RYE WHISKEY
An exceptionally good Rye Whisky, one that its creators are proud enough to call the renaissance of Rye. Young, and fierce yet really smooth around the corners. An impressive Whiskey from a genuine distillery with a bright future.

VEUVE CLICQUOT BRUT YELLOW LABEL
With a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier and 30% Chardonnay, this is a glorious champagne both for celebrations and for the casual afternoons on the balcony at home, why not?! Grapes from as many as 50 to 60 different crus go into the blend of Yellow Label.
"Well-knit and balanced, with vibrant acidity framing hints of blackberry, white cherry, biscuit, honey and candied lemon zest. Offers a lightly smoky finish. 91/100 points"

I am enjoying this. My favourite so far is the Madeira wine, although I am being strangely drawn to the...

GLENTAUCHERS 17YO 1996 - SINGLE CASK COLLECTION
The problem, as with a lot of Speyside Whiskies used in the production of blended Scotch, is that they are sometimes overlooked, as if they cannot stand for themselves. Boy, are some people wrong! Lets just thank the good people from Single cask collection who sniffed out great casks that were supposed to go into blends and for bringing them to us, so that they may never be forgotten and can be enjoyed to the fullest.
What they brough us is the Glentauchers 17YO 1996, an extremely limited Glentauchers dram from cask 1155. Only 167 bottles were ever made. It pays to be good!
