"So stop complaining about how other people act, we live in a world where you may be attacked in one way or anoher, GET OVER IT!"
So why are you pissing and moaning about feminists attacking you? Get over it. -
Also, "you can change the world, you can change yourself, you can change the future, but what you can't change is other people."
How does that make sense? If you're changing the world, wouldn't that require changing other people to some degree?
And before you say it, no, I do not agree with the "feminists" on this issue exactly. Read what I had to say earlier.

And what, should the women fighting for the vote before 1920 have just "gotten over it?"
and if you don't give a single damn about women, how about this guy and his supporters? Should they just "get over it" because they can't control what "feminists" think?
There's so much wrong with that last post, I had to triple post. -
Women getting the vote in 1920 was about improving the condition of women, or at least that was the idea feminists had. The truth is that if it weren't for Prohibition and the role women played in the temperance movement, universal suffrage wouldn't have happened. Just a history lesson.
This is completely different. This isn't feminism, unless your definition of being a feminist means being a vindictive b---- and bashing men every chance you get. At this moment I'm not going to contest that definition. And just so we are clear, feminists black-ball women too when they don't toe the party line. There was some s--- recently about Lena Dunham (who self-identifies as a feminist) being put on blast by feminists for something she wrote in her book that basically amounted to kids playing doctor. I mean seriously? Don't people have better things to do than feign outrage over bulls---?
I'm sorry, but s--- like this just confirms every negative stereotype about feminism. It confirms why women have largely shunned the movement and why many eventually become disillusioned with it. So feminism has lost me as an advocate until the movement undergoes some serious f---ing damage control. -
Again, since when the hell am I supporting them? The whole point I'm trying to make is that they're making us all look bad.

Appa, first, im not pissing or moaning. Im making an example, theres a difference.
And no, as implied, I dont believe changing the world does require changing the people.
Then leading into your next issue, laws are such an example of changing the world without changing people. In the 1920s, women fought for legal eqaulity, not control over other people.
Its not that I don't care about women, im rather attracted to them actually, I just recognize (and correctly so) the flaws in the civil rights orgs.and yes, the man in question SHOULD get over it. That was actually what I was saying the whole time. He was the subject of my rant, not women, although it applies to them as well.
And finally, yeah I read your other post, even if I didn't, I have no interest in calling you out on anything appa, dont worry. : p
Yeah there probably is a lot of error in my last post, because im having a conversation and not an acedmic debate, but the logic is perfectly good friend. -
Okay then.
These arguments really tire me, though. So much room for misunderstanding. -
I agree : )

We all make good and bad points. The problem with these types of arguments is that everyone gets so territorial about it. I'm certainly not free of guilt on that, I'll admit. It's like instead of trying to figure out the best way to go about something, we all just go for the throat and care only about winning. It's not something I really like, honestly.
