But think of the money being saved by not having to make more pennies. That's 105 million. You're also forgetting that some bills would be rounded up, thus evening everything out

I'm still keeping the pennies. Why can't the US be like more civilized countries and just list the price with tax also. GET IT TOGETHER AMERICA!!

The only reason we need to get rid of pennies is because of the effects of inflation. Though I love pennies, and hate inflation, I agree that pennies aren't worth it. It would be better if we just stopped inflation, but we all know our stupid government isn't going to stop printing out bills by the trillions.

Pennies are absolutely useless. But, I suggest if you want a 1$ McChicken from McDonald's.. Go for it. Save up all your pennies.
