I am quite fascinated by it. USA Government is all hush-hush about this area. So, what is the big secret they can't talk about? Even security guards present there don't know what they are guarding...Are they guarding some extra terrestrial weapons and machines? It is said that there is a building in Area 51 to which only half a dozen people can access, called 'The Hanger'. What is in there? Why public can't access to this area?

My money is on weapons of extreme destruction.

I choose not to speculate those things that cannot be proven, but certainly if whatever they are guarding is so top-secret, it must be something very powerful or dangerous.

I believe, like Geek does, that there might be some weapons of extreme destruction, which might trigger another World War.

I personally think it contains weapons of radical destruction. It's pretty much the same as mass destruction, but much flashier and with a lot more spray-paint.

Mass destruction?
It might be true but I constantly fear that there might be some extra-terrestrial facets of technology. Come on, we all know that USA has nuclear weapons which can easily cause mass destruction, but Area 51 is guarded like anything, which suggests that there might be something more extreme. -
Have you guys ever considered that since Area 51 is so widely known that now it's simply a decoy to keep people from looking at or noticing a different area? Also I'd like to point out my father works as a guard there so swag mother f---ers. :P

After all the controversy Area 51 has attracted, I don't think USA Government will be dumb enough to not establish more areas with heavy security.

The official Area 51 website maintained by the Las Vegas Tourism Bureau, breathlessly notes rumors that Area 51 has been used for the creation of exotic energy weapons, weather control experimentation and most interesting, time travel and teleportation technology.

As the old Vegas person I was I can tell you that there was something up in Area 51. Area 51 was built on an old WWII site. This means that indeed there is a possibility that there are weapons of mass destruction, as the previous users stated. Las Vegas is about 80 miles away from area 51. Although, i'm sad to say we don't know for sure if there are any of these things there. If you even dare to get close you have one warning to get away or else you'll be shot. My theory is that they are preparing schemes and artillery of destruction. In case there will be a 'WWIII' then I can say this will come in handy. Then there is a theory of there being 'extraterrestrial life' being investigated at Area 51. Again, we have no prove of this but there have been various abnormal phenomena around this place.
In conclusion, we might never know what goes on in there, but I think it has to be something very important if it's so protected, and so secretive. -
0_o I'm a bit confused.
WWII saw the advent of many deadly and eccentric weapons, and I'm sure that the USA Government has retained some of them and modified them completely. USA possesses extra-terrestrial technology, it is kind of obvious.
But, rockstar said that Area 51 is a decoy; it has been established just to ward off curiosity. And you say that abnormal phenomena and unexplained happenings have been going around Area 51.
So, my main question is: are there more establishments like Area 51? -
Is it true that if you beyond a certain point in Area 51, you can get shot?
