In case you hadn't heard, this is a college student that shot and killed seven people, himself included, and injured another seven. One is in critical condition. Three more bodies were found in the guy's apartment. These were all innocents, as far as anyone knows, so what was his reasoning?
Retribution.
Yes, according to a video Rogers uploaded, which has been removed but reposted by other sources, this slaughter happened because he was 22 and still a virgin. The man killed all of these people because he's been in college a couple years and still not gotten laid. The girls gave their affection to other men, but not him, and this was his revenge for the emotional devastation he was suffering because of their rejection.
A lot of people are excusing what he's done now. He was just a poor, lonely college kid. He should have waited a while. He would have found someone. Comments on the topic range from the reasonable disgust to celebration of his actions. Yes, people are idolizing him. Men that feel they have been abused by the ever accursed "friendzone" have flocked to the internet en masse to let everyone know that this guy is a hero. Some say that more women need to die, just so that women will begin to understand what effect their actions have on men, how rejection and friendzoning can drive a man to madness.
Oh yes, while we're on the topic of madness, this is a legitimate excuse which is also being used to undercut the pure hatred that made this crime. This was an act of misogyny, because this man felt so entitled to sex and to the affections of women, that he felt he deserved some sort of retribution for his virginity. -
Ugh..I watched a couple of his videos.Pretty bone chilling.
The f---ing guy drove a BMW and had a rich dad who worked in Hollywood, Girls most likely rejected due to his Narcissistic personality(so self absorbed)-not for his looks >.> Woman could probably sense that he was a f---ing creep and strayed away from him. Getting laid seemed to be what all he cared cared about, he had his priorities all f---ed up.
What sickens me most is that some dudes claim that they can relate to him..just no, man. What this guy dd was wrong. -

Anyone saying the woman are to blame are dead wrong.If a girl doesn't like you, she doesn't like you.No means no.When you are rejected you move on.The guy had his standards to high as well, going for girls who are out of his league.I bet he never tried to approach a girl either, just sat their and waited.

No, no, this is good. Talking is good. This is s--- and everyone should be scared, frankly, because there really are people who say they can relate to him. There are people who agree with his ideals and who are actively advocating the murder of more women for this exact reason. Thank you for your input, Jade. :I

I'm truly not trying to make light out of this, but this was basically my reaction to first reading this.
I mean, I can't honestly understand how someone could be that...stupid. ._. He obviously wasn't mentally stable, and was able to make himself believe such nonsense. Idk. -
Mentally stable or not, people died, and people are cheering him for it. I don't think they're all mentally unstable.

Just because they rejected him doesn't give him even an ounce of a right to Eve think of attacking any woman. Women are entitled to their body and because they weren't willingly falling at his feet he got angry and shot people. Not only did he shoot women he also shot men that he thought was below him and didn't deserve these women who put him down.
Don't think of it as he ONLY shot sorority girls because they are still girls, still human beings, to shoot anyone because you aren't getting your way OS childish. Its scary to think that women are thought of being as human sexy objects and if we don't give ourselves to anybody who asks or begs or pleads we could potentially be harmed because we have some respect for ourselves and have standards.
